Season Spirits and Jewel Tree

Mosaic Jewel Trees, and Season Spirits Hanging Garden Decorations
I have finally managed to get the full season set of Mosaic Jewel Tree Garden Hanging Plaques listed on my website, and joining them are a complimenting full set of Mosaic Season Sprites Hanging Decorations, which would look great dotted around a garden peeping out from the plants. The idea behind all the designs was to collect the colours of the season, so in Spring there is the pastels of blossom, the bright yellow of daffodils, and the fresh greens again the aqua blue sky. In Summer there's the deep colours of the flowers against the rich greens. In Autumn it's the tapestry of colour of the autumn leaves. And in winter the bright berries, bare wood, and the icy blues and white. Great on their own, but all designed to go with each other in any combination, so you could match a pair of seasons for a couple's birthday months, or just two seasons that you love the colours of. These can be found on my website, and in my Etsy shop.

Jewel Tree Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

A new range is in progress. I've called these the Jewel Trees because there are highlight leaves of translucent, iridescent, and metallic colours that shine out. These are Spring, Summer, and Autumn with Winter on it's way soon. These are all bird baths, but the range can be made onto wall hanging plaques too, and can be used in the home or the garden.

Bumblebees in Blossom Mosaic Hanging Heart

Large Bumblebees in Blossom Mosaic Hanging Heart

Mini Bumblebee in Blossom Mosaic Heart

I think spring is springing. I saw my first bumblebee of the year a few days ago and I got all inspired to make some hanging hearts using my mosaic bumblebees. Two sizes, large and mini, and both are made to commission. This is a bit different to made to order, because the made to order designs I have the materials set aside for so when the order comes in I can make straight away. With the made to commission designs, I may not have all the materials to make in stock so will order in anything I need. I'm running a Made to Commission album on Facebook, which will have all the designs in it with the sizes and use info, and the way to order anything in that album will be to message me on Facebook to let me know which on you're interested in, then I can send you a price and a making time too.

Folksy Handmade - Blossom

Rose Daisy Mosaic Garden Bird Box
JoSara
This Folksy Friday is inspired by my new bird box, which has a design inspired by the colour of the rose pink porcelain tile that I used, which reminded me of blossom. And with pink blossom I always associate pale blue skies, and light, fresh green leaves. So the palette I used was pretty easy to put together. So was this Folksy Friday, because there were some great blossom inspired items to choose from, and they were just the colours I was after too. Hopefully this will be a common sight soon. As soon as a little bit of warmth happens, the blossom must be bursting to come out. Hope you like the selection.

Folksy Handmade - Green

Mosaic Daisy Pot Cane Toppers
JoSara

Today's Folksy Friday is a simple one, celebrating the colour green. I don't think anyone can dislike green as a colour because there are so many shades to choose from. The yellowy end, to the dark nearly black end, with all the bluey, and pastel, and bright shades in between. Lime, fern, moss, bright, spring, jade, sea, forest, emerald, pistachio, mint, willow, apple........ What's your favourite?

Winter to Spring

Mosaic Bird Box
This week started with quite mild weather, which started me thinking about spring (I think it started quite a lot of people thinking about it, because at least two of this week's Folksy front page features have been spring themed). I'm not quite in full spring mode just yet. Especially as the weather is taking a turn for the cold again. But I'm looking forward to the first signs. Like the first spring flowers, and the birds that stay for the summer starting to arrive. On that train of though I have been creating a new range of bird boxes which I'm planning to start listing in a couple of weeks. And I think one of them inspired the palette for this FF.

So, today's Folksy Friday is a nod to spring, with a touch of winter too, just to remind us that we're not quite through it yet. Some things are featured for their image, and some things are featured to create the palette I wanted. All things are there because they are fab.
