Folksy Handmade - Beads

A Folksy Friday full of handmade beads today. I love a good root around the supplies section for a Folksy Friday theme. What could be better to make that really special piece of jewellery out of unique beads? All the colours of the rainbow are here, and you could make all sorts of styles of jewellery out of them. What's not to love?

Folksy Handmade - Contemporary Christmas

Suncatcher Christmas Trees
I just worked out how many Folksy Fridays there are left until Christmas. Taking out the last Friday before Christmas, because it's past the last posting date, there are only 8. So I think it's about time I started my Gift Ideas and Christmas Decoration Collections. I'll be doing gift lists aimed at certain people, and collections of similar style decorations to help give a bit of Christmas inspiration. I love a good root around for the Christmas Folksy Fridays. There's always some gems that I find in all the new shops I come across.

Anyway, this week I'm doing Contemporary Christmas. So here is a selection of decorations, cards, and  tags with a modern look and feel.

For more details on any of the items click on the pic to be taken to the shop.

Folksy Handmade - Supplies

As I have made a move into selling my wool flowers, I thought for this week's Folksy Friday I'd go and have a nose around in the Supplies section and see what else I could find. Blimey! What a fantastic selection of handmade goodies. I've picked out things that caught my eye, but there are tons to choose from. I would recommend anyone wanting a bit of inspiration to have a hunt through. You're bound to see something that will inspire you to create something using it.

Anyway, please find a small taster of what's on offer below. Links to the shops in the menu under the gallery, and a selection of the items will be on my ongoing Folksy Friday Pinterest board here -

Folksy Handmade - Christmas Pt 2.

Magenta and old gold gift bow

The last of my themed Folksy lists that I've got to add an update to, so I've gone to town and updated all the different themes included in this board.

It's now a full board of Christmas decorations by colour and theme, and a great section of wrapping and tags too. There's tons to choose from, so you could get your whole house decorated in one go, and all your pressies wrapped in style here -

Folksy Handmade Christmas - All Wrapped Up

Red & Old Gold Christmas Gift Bow

Purple & Old Gold Christmas Gift Bow

This is going to be the final addition to my Folksy.com Christmas decoration collections because I'm going to concentrate on doing a few more themed Folksy Gift Ideas in the run up to Christmas. (I've previously blogged about Gardeners, Office, and Men gift ideas.)

So, for my final Christmas decoration theme, I thought I'd do a collection of wrapping, tags and bows, as a neat end. I've got a selection of cards in my other collections, so these are the finishing touch for your pressies.
