Tudor Rose Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

Tudor Rose Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

Can you smell the topiary? Hear the lute playing as you stroll round your garden? This evocative design bird bath will help transport you there. The mosaic Tudor Rose in the centre with a deep blue background with stylised leaves and buds is a lovely clean, crisp look that would suit any style of garden.

Mediterranean Pool and Heather Tartan Mosaic Bird Baths

Mediterranean Pool Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

Two new bird baths added to my website shop and to my Etsy shop (for international buyers) both made just using straight lines. The first one, Mediterranean Pool, has a design that was inspired by pools, and the tiles and colours of the Med, with it's blues, turquoises, and sea greens.

Heather Tartan Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

The other mosaic design, Heather Tartan, has a tartan pattern and uses purples, greens, and sky and grey blues which remind me of heather moorland.

So the bird baths use the same method of making the mosaics, but the colours and pattern give them totally different looks. Both are great for adding colour to the garden, and both can be used as bird baths by your garden birds, and also as water dishes by other wildlife, including hedgehogs. They make great gifts for wildlife and garden lovers too.

Jade Water Lily Pond Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

Jade Water Lily Pond Mosaic Garden Bird Bath

I've been experimenting with colour palettes on my Water Lily Pond bird bath design and I've come up with a combination of matt and iridescent pastel pink with orange centres, and a jade green background made with two close shades just to give a tiny variation. It's got a lovely calm feel to it.

I think it would suit it to any style of garden too. I could see it in a cottage garden, or in a more contemporry one too.

Viola Flowers Bookmark / Suncatcher Blank Card

Viola Flowers Bookmark / Suncatcher Hand Painted Greeting Card

This is the third in my Bookmark / Suncatcher card series, where the card design can be removed and used as a gift suncatcher, or bookmark. Continuing with the garden / nature / wildlife theme that I try and stick to in my shops, this one has a design of three viola flowers, hand painted in deep rich blue and golden yellow which are really intense when the light shines through them. A great, unique card/gift for a gardener, or flower lover, avid book reader, or just anyone who likes something a bit different.

Folksy Handmade Gift Ideas - Gardeners Pt 2.

Sunbleached Ripple Mosaic Bird Bath
(Not on the lists, I couldn't fit it in.)

As I had created the original lists about 2 months ago, I've had another look around to see if there was anything else that I could add to them to keep them updated. And there was loads.

I've marked the second lot of items with 'Pin 2', just so you know what's been added. If you know any gardeners that you need gifts for you are spoilt for choice now. You just need to decide which list to pick from -
